1.
Set the power switch on the Child Sender to ‘ON’.
The
red power light will flick, which means the unit is on stand-by
& functioning correctly.
2.
Place the Parent
Receiver within 15CM to the Child Sender and switch on the Parent
Receiver. The Parent Receiver will beep to indicate the communication
status as follows:
One beep
- means the unit is starting to encode.
Two
beeps
- means encoding successful (Parent Receiver
red LED flickers).
Continuous
beeps - means there has been an encoding error. This
needs the Parent Receiver to be reset. To do this switch both
units off and push the Reset button in the hole on the Parent
Receiver using the end if a paper clip. Do not use excessive force
or the unit may be damaged.
3.
Attach the
Child Sender to your child and keep the Parent Receiver with you.
4. If
required adjust the guiding distance between the units by using
the Range Adjustment control on the Parent Receiver.
Maximum distance -
9 Metres approximately
Minimum distance -
1 Metre approximately
5.
If the
distance between the Child Sender and Parent Receiver exceeds
the preset guiding distance the Parent Receiver beeps continuously.
The beep stops if the distance
is reduced to within the guiding distance.
6. If
the Child Sender is switched off or stopped for any reason during
monitoring the Parent Receiver beeps immediately.

Notes
-
If
the monitoring distance noticeably decreases or the beeps
become quieter, it means the battery power is low. Replace
the batteries. Refer to the diagrams to correctly change the
batteries, or follow the polarity instructions inside each
unit.
-
When
the batteries have been replaced the Parent Receiver will
need to be reset (see Instruction 2).
-
Switch
off each unit when not in use. Remember to add your contact
details to the label provided!
